Reusing Nespresso Pods

 

As I suspect, we can reuse the original pods just by resealing them with Aluminium tapes but only for Vertuo. This video shows that someone has done it. However, we need to dial-in the coffee first.

I measured the contents in my Colombia Single Origin Nespresso pod to be 6 g. My reusable pods, plastic or stainless steel contains less than 5 g if tamped tightly.

Unfortunately, my medium roast coffee, ground just fine using a USB grinder chokes my Nespresso brewer, Outin Clone, with a dose of 4.5 g, not tamped tightly so filling the capsule.

He said you can't reuse original Nespresso pods because they were punctured. I tried resealing the punctured pods using smaller diameter aluminum foils.
